Step-by-step guide

step1

Step 1: Creating a new filter

When you first arrive at the 'Browse Loans' section of the Marketplace, you will see a 'Filter Loans' drop down on the top left-hand corner. Select the last option in this list, 'Create new filter.

step1

Step 2: Naming new filter

Every new filter will be named 'Untitled filter' by default - we suggest the very first thing you do is name your filter, so you don't forget to do so later. This will be the name that appears in the drop down filter list once you have saved your filter.

Step 3: Customising your filter

Now it's time to set the parameters of your custom filter. To do this, select the 'Add Filter Item +' option. This will bring up a list of all the criteria you can create a filter from. You select one at a time, but can add as many as you like.

Step 4: Refining your criteria

Each filtering option will have a different interface to adjust your particular preference. As you refine your personal criteria, you will see the Marketplace automatically hide and reveal loans accordingly. This will give you an indication on how this filter will perform in the future.

step1

Step 5: Save your filter

That's it! Make sure you hit save, and your new filter will appear in the drop down list. If you haven't already, make sure you give you filter a name before hitting save. This is so they are easily identifiable when you come to use them in the future.

Step 6: Using your filter

Now, every time you log in to the marketplace, you can select the filter you wish to use. Alternatively, you can click the yellow star next to any custom filter you have created and this will set it as the default filter which will be applied every time you log in.
